Dr. B N Prabhavathi - Gynecologist

Dr.B.N.Prabhavathi was born and raised in Mandya, Karnataka. After completing early education in Mandya town, she went on to pursue her under graduation in Prestigious Mysore Medical college in the year 1982. After Graduating in MBBS, Dr.Prabhavathi continued her Post Graduation program in the same college and completed DGO & MD in Gynecology & Obstetrics. In the early days of her career, Dr.Prabhavathi worked in Govt Hospitals of Mandya district and rendered her services for about 3 years. Dr.Prabhavathi did about 3000 laproscopic sterilization while working in Givt Hospital. Out of sheer interest and everlasting learning nature she was trained in Laparoscopic Surgeries from Sunrise Hospital By Dr.Hafeez rehman, Cochin Kerala. Dr Rajesh Akola endoscopic centre Nagpur & Ramesh Hospital Bangalore. And Dr.Prabhavathi eastablished Pragahti Hospital in the year 1989 in Mandya, which is now an important health care centre for the people of mandya. Under her dynamic leadership the institution is now grown into an 50 bedded multispecialty hospital providing best healthcare in all departments including Gynecology & Obstetrics, Laproscopic surgeries, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Paedeatrics, Infertility and many more. Dr.Prabhavathi has delivered more than 50,000 babies so far and still continues her relentless service to society even today.
